We believe everyone should have a trusted financial advisor working in their best interest, so we have created a conflict-free financial planning and portfolio management process designed to provide our clients a path to financial success. The Financial Planning internship role will support the Financial Planning Specialist and other advisors in developing client financial plans through data entry and in-depth industry research and analysis. He/she will primarily be responsible for compiling and analyzing client data within our software. Other responsibilities may include researching content for blogs, podcasts and videos. He/she will also be trained on various software used by our firm to gain industry experience. This is a back-office role with limited client interaction. This internship has the potential to become a full-time, permanent role at our firm.
The ideal candidate will be a Junior or Senior majoring in Financial Planning, Finance or similar. Financial industry experience is preferred but not required. For summer internships, full-time hours are preferred (35-40 hours a week) starting mid May through the beginning of August. This opportunity will be on-site at our Marietta office and is not a virtual position. The deadline to submit an application for a 2023 summer internship at our firm is January 31, 2023. We will start reaching out to candidates in November of 2022 to being the screening process.
