William Medcalf, CFP®, CBDA, joined Wiser Wealth Management in 2023 and works closely with individuals and families to build comprehensive, values-driven financial plans. He is passionate about helping clients gain clarity around their finances and make thoughtful, confident decisions aligned with their long-term goals.
William’s work focuses on integrating cash flow planning, investment strategy, tax awareness, and long-term planning into a clear and practical framework tailored to each client’s life. He values long-term relationships and takes a collaborative approach, helping clients navigate both day-to-day financial decisions and major life transitions. In addition to his client work, William serves as Chair of Wiser’s Financial Planning Committee.
Prior to joining Wiser Wealth Management, William gained experience across multiple areas of the financial services industry, including Registered Investment Advisory firms, brokerage environments, and tax preparation services. His background allows him to approach planning holistically, with an understanding of how various financial disciplines work together.
William earned his Bachelor of Science in Financial Planning from the University of Georgia and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional.
Outside of work, William enjoys spending time outdoors and reading. He and his wife, Abby, live in Woodstock with their daughter.
