Investments Intern

About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Investments Intern to join the Investment team for the fall of 2026. This is an entry-level internship designed for a current student, or recent graduate, who is passionate about capital markets, portfolio management, and investment analysis, and is eager to gain experience in investment research or portfolio management.

As an Investments Intern, you will work closely with our Director of Investments to support the full investment process. You will assist with financial research, data analysis, client portfolio implementation and investment proposal plans, updating internal performance pieces and data sets, and help with various other department related tasks.

This internship will provide mentorship, hands-on training, and guidance with the goal of deepening your skills in portfolio management.

What You Will Do

  • Research relevant investment funds and strategies
  • Assist with portfolio management duties such as updating internal dashboards
  • Analyze client investment situations and create relevant analytics for proposals
  • Audit and update portfolio and reporting databases
  • Help with other data gathering and analysis projects
  • Prepare investment committee meeting prep materials and performance reports
  • Participate in investment fund manager meetings and provide feedback
  • Assist the Director of Investments with firm initiatives such as educational content and blogs

What You Will Bring

  • Working towards a bachelor’s degree in finance, or a related field
  • MacOS experience required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong interest in investments, capital markets, and portfolio management
  • Interest in the CFA designation or progress is a plus
  • Solid analytical and quantitative skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and research abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to professional excellence

This is a part-time internship (10-20 hours per week on average) and reports directly to the Director of Investments. High-performing candidates may be considered for future full-time opportunities as the firm’s investment department grows.
