What are the Best Short-Term Investment Plans?

When people ask about short-term investments, hedging is brought up a lot of the time. Hedging is not a very good short-term investment because it usually locks your money up for around 5-10 years. If we really look at it, there probably aren’t any good short-term investments besides saving. For example, CDs, money markets (MMA), or even 3-month treasury bills would be good options. A good rule of thumb is that you shouldn’t be investing in the stock market if you will need that money within the next five years. The stock market is too unpredictable.

If you’re looking for short-term solutions, don’t invest, save.
